Report Interpretation
The Sahay’s Air Screen – Mold Only test kit is designed for collecting air samples to assess airborne fungi/mold particulates. Utilizing a non-culture method through microscopy, collected air sample is examine for identifying and quantifying fungal/mold particulates collected from the ambient air in and around your indoor environments. It features a spore trap cassette and a sampling pump that draws a predetermined volume of air into a collection device (Mold snap) over a specified exposure duration. The collected particulates are then transferred onto a slide for microscopic examination. This methodology provides essential information regarding air quality and detects airborne particles without the need for culturing, leading to faster results.
Our standard kit, suitable for areas up to 1,000 square feet, includes:
- Two (2) Mold snap or Allergenco sampling cassettes
- One (1) air pump (to be returned after sampling or available for purchase)
- Sampling instructions or guide and Chain of Custody (COC) document
- Lab report on reported fungal or mold particles following analysis with guideline.
- Turnaround time (TAT) of three (3) to five (5) business days
